قال الله تعالى

 {  إِنَّ اللَّــهَ لا يُغَيِّــرُ مَـا بِقَــوْمٍ حَتَّــى يُـغَيِّـــرُوا مَــا بِــأَنْــفُسِــــهِـمْ  }

سورة  الرعد  .  الآيـة   :   11

ahlaa

Anyone who has studied Islam will know very well that the faith places an extreme emphasis on the importance of being just. This emphasis on justice includes rulings pertaining to families, communities and nations as a whole.

We’ve compiled a short list of seven direct and clear commands of justice taken from both the Quran and Sunnah for all to benefit.

Do not favor anyone above the truth.

O you who believe, be persistently standing firm in justice as witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor…

Quran 4:135

Quran 4:135

“…Do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just, for that is nearer to righteousness. Fear Allah, for verily, Allah is aware of what you do.”

Quran 5:8

Fulfill your trusts.

Verily, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due… Verily, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing.

Quran 4:58

Judge fairly amongst others.

So reconcile between them in justice and fairness. Verily, Allah loves those who are just.

Quran 49:9

Be just towards your dependents.

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said:

Verily, the most beloved of people to Allah on the Day of Resurrection and the nearest to Him will be the just leader.

(Tirmidhi)

He also said:

Be just with your children. Be just with your sons.

(Abu Dawud)

Do not oppress others.

Allah has said:

“Oh my servants, I have forbidden oppression for myself and have made it forbidden among you, so do not oppress one another.”

Sahih Muslim

Do not harm innocent people.

“Allah does not forbid you from being righteous and just to those who do not fight you because of your religion or drive you out of your homes. Allah loves those who are just.”

Quran 60:8

Do not mock others.

“O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them.”

Quran 49:11
