قال الله تعالى

 {  إِنَّ اللَّــهَ لا يُغَيِّــرُ مَـا بِقَــوْمٍ حَتَّــى يُـغَيِّـــرُوا مَــا بِــأَنْــفُسِــــهِـمْ  }

سورة  الرعد  .  الآيـة   :   11

ahlaa

Education is Fundamental to Development and Growth

كتبه
Earlier this month, I was invited to be a keynote speaker on the theme of "Education for Economic Success" at the Education World Forum, which brought education ministers and leaders from over 75 countries together in London. Education is fundamental to development and growth. The human mind makes possible all development achievements, from health advances and agricultural innovations to efficient public administration and private sector growth. For countries to reap these benefits fully, they need to unleash the potential of the human mind. And there is no better tool for doing so than education. Twenty years ago, government officials and development partners met to affirm the importance…

China reports first human case of H10N3 bird flu

كتبه
BEIJING (Reuters): A 41-year-old man in China's eastern province of Jiangsu has been confirmed as the first human case of infection with the H10N3 strain of bird flu, China's National Health Commission (NHC) said on Tuesday (June 1). The man, a resident of the city of Zhenjiang, was hospitalised on April 28 after developing a fever and other symptoms, the NHC said in a statement. He was diagnosed as having the H10N3 avian influenza virus on May 28, it said, but did not give details on how the man had been infected with the virus. The man was stable and…

MICROWAVE WEAPON CONCERNS SPREAD TO DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY

كتبه
U.S. GOVERNMENT SUSPICIONS about microwave weapon attacks have apparently spread to the Department of Homeland Security, the nation’s largest federal law enforcement body encompassing agencies like Immigration and Customs Enforcement as well as U.S. Customs and Border Protection, according to an internal DHS memo obtained exclusively by The Intercept. On Thursday, DHS Deputy Under Secretary for Management Randolph D. Alles sent a memo to department personnel encouraging them to report “unexplained health incidents” to medical officials within DHS or to the State Department. The memo goes on to announce that “DHS is partnering with our interagency colleagues to ensure comprehensive public…

CIA (Dis)Information Operations Come Home to the US

كتبه
Reporters joke the easiest job in Washington is CIA spokesman. You need only listen carefully to questions and say “No comment’ before heading to Happy Hour. The joke, however, is on us. The reporters pretend to see only one side of the CIA, the passive hiding of information about itself. They meanwhile choose to profit from the other side of the equation, active information operations designed to influence events in America. It is 2021 and the CIA is running an op against the American people.Leon Panetta, the Director CIA from 2009 to 2011 explained bluntly his CIA did influence foreign media outlets ahead of…
Majorities of Americans say the federal government, businesses and other actors are doing too little to reduce the effects of climate change and express support for a variety of policy approaches aimed at addressing the issue. At the same time, the public has limited appetite for some of the more dramatic proposed changes to energy consumption, such as phasing out the use of fossil fuels entirely or ending the production of gasoline-powered vehicles by 2035, according to a new Pew Research Center survey. The survey, conducted April 20-29 among 13,749 U.S. adults, includes a sample of more than 900 Gen Z…
The latest round of fighting between Israelis and Palestinians ended in the usual way: with a cease-fire that left Palestinians worse off and the core issues unaddressed. It also provided more evidence that the United States should no longer give Israel unconditional economic, military, and diplomatic support. The benefits of this policy are zero, and the costs are high and rising. Instead of a special relationship, the United States and Israel need a normal one. Once upon a time, a special relationship between the United States and Israel might have been justified on moral grounds. The creation of a Jewish…
JAKARTA (REUTERS) - Indonesia has resumed usage of a temporarily suspended batch of AstraZeneca's Covid-19 vaccine, the country's food and drug agency (Bpom) said on Thursday (May 27). The agency suspended use of one batch of the vaccine to conduct an investigation after a young man died after being inoculated earlier this month. "According to test results, it can be concluded that there was no relation between the quality of Covid-19 vaccine batch number CTMAV547 with the post immunisation event reported," said Bpom. The batch consists of 448,480 doses that arrived in the South-east Asian nation in April, part of a delivery…

The Paris Commune’s Bloody Week

كتبه
In hiding and soon to be sentenced to death in absentia, Eugène Pottier completed a poem In June 1871 that still serves as the rallying cry for the Left worldwide: L’Internationale. Its themes of solidarity and universalism would enshrine the ambitions of the Paris Commune, a brief and extraordinary social experiment that unfolded during the spring of 1871 in what was then Europe’s second-largest city. However, between 21 and 28 May, central Paris was incinerated and approximately 25,000 people massacred when French soldiers annihilated the Commune, an atrocity remembered as the ‘Bloody Week’. The Commune’s origins lay in France’s humiliation during…
The deliberate stoking of tensions to enable a show of strength followed by an equally deliberate retreat could become an everyday tool used in foreign policy: a regular swing of the pendulum between escalation and de-escalation. Amid the dangerous escalation in tensions at the Russia-Ukraine border this month, analysts struggled to find a rational explanation for why it was happening—and why now. The speed with which worst-case scenarios have once again receded from view proves that fear itself could be the motivation, with the rapid reduction of the threat the real goal. Having established their determination and intransigence, the two…
People learn in many different ways. Adaptive learning has sought to address differences inability by targeting teaching practices. The use of adaptive models, ranging from technological programs to intelligent systems, can be used in the traditional classroom environment. The use of these programs is expected to grow exponentially in the near future. To start, one must look at the unique needs of each student and their interests. Custom learning programs in the adaptive model create a personalized learning path for each student. Studies have shown that students are more engaged when they are able to practice frequently. Adaptive learning models also…
